Bellmead,TX : Pedestrian dies after getting hit by car in Bellmead on December, Tuesday 19th 2017

A Corsicana man died late Tuesday night when he tried to cross Interstate 35 on foot in Bellmead, Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Robbie Barrera said.

Troopers were called to the 1500 block of North I-35, near mile-marker 339, shortly before 9 p.m. when Sabino Silva Quiroz, 57, attempted to cross the interstate from the east side of the roadway. Barrera said, while Quiroz was crossing the interstate, the driver of a northbound 2008 Ford 4-door car, identified as Brandon Rashad Turner, 25, of Waco, struck Quiroz.
