RANDOLPH COUNTY, NC : Crash investigation closes HWY 42 in Randolph County on Sunday, 7th January 2024

NC Highway Patrol said two deputies were involved in a crash on HWY 42 near Iron Mountain in Randolph County around 7 a.m. on Sunday.

Troopers said the crash happened as the deputies were on their way to assist EMS who had reported that they were in danger at the intersection of NC Hwy 42 S. and Glenn Country Rd as they were taking a patient to the hospital.
