Skyline Drive, VA : Man involved in Skyline Drive accident charged with DUI on Saturday, 7th September 2019

On Saturday, a man drove his car off of Skyline Drive, sustaining some minor to moderate injuries.

Clint Robertson, public information officer with the Cañon City Police Department, said Bruce Crawford, 28, of Cañon City was the driver of the vehicle in the accident.

He said the car rolled off of Skyline Drive and that Crawford did receive medical attention but was cleared before being taken to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office.

Robertson said Crawford is being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to drive in a single lane, reckless driving and disorderly conduct.

No information about how the car crashed was provided, as the accident report was not completed, Robertson said.
