Pocatello, ID :No serious injuries in crash on I-15 south of Pocatello on Monday, July 13th 2015

An adult male was taken to Portneuf Medical Center Monday afternoon as a precaution after being involved in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 south of Pocatello.
The crash happened at about 2 p.m. in the northbound lanes at about mile post 61, which is in between Pocatello and Inkom. An adult male was driving a Toyota Camry when one of the tires blew. The vehicle struck the guardrail and then struck a Chevrolet Impala driven by a Utah resident. Both vehicles ended up in the median.The driver of the Camry was not seriously injured, but was taken to PMC as a precaution. The driver of the Impala was not injured.Idaho State Police and Bannock County Search and Rescue responded to the crash.
