GREENVILLE, SC : Driver dies after crash with Greenville Transit Authority bus on Thursday, 21st March 2024

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the Greenville Police Department are investigating a crash that left a man dead Thursday night.
The collision happened on Laurens Road near Parkins Mill Road around 8:45 p.m. According to the coroner, a vehicle collided with a Greenville Transit Authority bus.
The driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Marcello Alanso Lopez, was transported by EMS to the hospital where he passed away.
The crash remains under investigation.
