Yelm, WA : 2 men die after car crashes into barrier north of Yelm on state Route 507on Wednesday, 28th November 2018

Two Yelm men died Wednesday when their car crashed into a canal on state Route 507, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Both men died at the scene. Thurston County Coroner Gary Warnock on Thursday identified the driver as 20-year-old Jeremiah Yeagley and the passenger as 26-year-old Antony Morgan.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. On Thursday, detectives were interviewing potential witnesses.

Autopsies are scheduled for Friday.
