Guntersville,AL : Woman killed in 2-vehicle wreck near Guntersville on September, Tuesday 19th 2017

A Guntersville woman was killed and a man was injured during a two-vehicle wreck Tuesday in Marshall County.

Alabama State Troopers said 33-year-old Karie Hutchinson was driving a KIA Optima when her car collided with a Toyota Rav4 head-on on Alabama Highway 69 at 1:55 p.m. Hutchinson was pronounced dead at the scene, which was near the 274 mile marker. The Toyota driver was transported to the hospital.

The accident remains under investigation and additional information was not released.
