Phoenix reopens after deadly crash in Arizona
Interstate 10 south of the Valley has reopened after a deadly crash.
Bart Graves with the Department of Public Safety said the collision involved a garbage truck and passenger vehicle.
Graves said the driver of the passenger car died at the scene. The driver of the truck has minor injuries.
The crash happened at milepost 176, about 25 miles southeast of downtown Phoenix.Air15 video showed a backup of about 4 miles behind the accident scene at 11 a.m.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said the roadway opened around 1:45 p.m.There was no immediate word on how the crash happened.
