Stanley Kidd, 73, of Pennsville, was riding eastbound on Christiana Road in New Castle at the time of the accident, according to a news release from Delaware State Police. A 20-year-old Delaware man driving a 2001 Toyota Solara was trying to make a left hand turn from the westbound side of the roadway when he cut into Kidd's path, police said.
