Columbia, PA : Women, 89, dies after being struck by car in Columbia Borough on Saturday evening, November 8, 2014

Police say an 89-year-old woman in the south-central Pennsylvania borough of Columbia was hit by a car and died. Police identified her as Mildred Brown. They say they found her Saturday evening lying in the road, critically injured, and the driver of the vehicle was at the scene. Brown was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
