Tallahassee, FL : Elderly NW Florida man initiates 4-car crash on Friday, August 4, 2017

A four-car crash initiated by an elderly Northwest Florida man has left two people hospitalized with serious injuries.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol news release, the incident at 9:40 p.m. Friday in Bay County occurred when William Wood, 88, of Panama City, pulled his 2007 Ford F-150 pickup onto State Road 75 from the Pinetree Road intersection and struck the side of a 2014 GMC Sierra pickup driven by 53-year-old Edgar Monk of Alford.
Following that collision, Wood’s pickup continued traveling north in the southbound lane of SR 75 at which point it collided with a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Mohammad Musa, 19, of Panama City.
