At least one person died in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on N.C. 152 northeast of downtown Mooresville, just west of the Rowan County line.
Iredell EMS and the N.C. Highway Patrol confirmed the death. At least one other person reportedly suffered serious injuries. Initial reports were that one of the vehicles flipped, trapping two people inside.
Traffic on N.C. 152 East was redirected onto Brumley Road.
The N.C. Highway Patrol is investigating.
