A 15-year-old girl died and two other girls were injured in a utility task vehicle accident in Fayetteville Saturday, according to dispatchers.
The three girls were riding in a UTV that rolled over in the Thousand Oaks subdivision around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
The 15-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene. Another girl was taken by helicopter to Charleston Area Medical Center, the dispatcher said. The third victim was taken by ambulance to Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, but was later transferred to CAMC, the dispatcher said.
The dispatcher said the injured juveniles were also around 15 years old.
The girls’ names have not been released. West Virginia State Police are investigating the incident.
