Altona, NY : NY woman killed in head-on crash on Route 190 in Altona at 2:38 p.m. Tuesday on June 3, 2014

A box truck and Honda Civic collided head-on, killing a woman.

New York State Police say that Darlene Manor, 55, was traveling on Route 190 in Altona at 2:38 p.m. Tuesday. Troopers say for an unknown reason, Manor's Civic crossed into the other lane, directly into the path of a box truck.

The Mooers Forks woman hit Philip E. Vannortwick Jr's, 29, box truck head-on, killing her.

Katherine M. Manor, 20, of Mooers Forks was a passenger in the car. Katherine was transported to Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh with non-life-threatening injuries.

Vannortwick was also taken to CVPH with non-life-threatening injuries.

Manor's autopsy will be performed on June 4, 2014, at 9:30 a.m.

This investigation is ongoing.
