MANATEE COUNTY, FL : Motorcyclist dies in Manatee crash on April, Saturday 1st 2017

A motorcyclist was killed Friday evening in a two-vehicle accident, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.
According to the report, Scott Audette, 55, of Palmetto was traveling south about 9:20 p.m. in his Jeep Cherokee in a left turn lane on U.S.19. At the same moment, Joseph Koch, 20, of Brooksville was traveling north on U.S. 19 on his Yamaha R3 motorcycle. Audette attempted a left turn onto 49th Street E. in front of Koch. Koch attempted to avoid a collision, but both he and his motorcycle slid under Audette vehicle.
