PADUCAH, KY : Illinois man injured after a single-vehicle crash in McCracken County on Friday, 4th October 2024

A man was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle collision in McCracken County, Kentucky.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department, at around 3:19 a.m. on Friday, October 4, deputies were dispatched to the 1600 block of Said Road for a single-vehicle collision with injuries.

Through investigation, it was determined that 30-year-old Jacob Benavides of Metropolis, Illinois was driving his vehicle eastbound on Said Road. His vehicle exited the roadway to the left, striking a tree line.

Benavides was transported to a local hospital by Mercy Regional EMS for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries.
