Temple, TX : Motorcyclist killed in crash on U.S. Highway 190 in Belton on Thursday night, April 6, 2017

The Police Department has identified the motorcyclist who died in a crash Thursday night on U.S. Highway 190.

Teshone Preacely, 36, of Harker Heights, was named by the department Friday.

Belton Police received the emergency call at 7:16 p.m for the accident on U.S. 190. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash. Mr. Preacely was not wearing a helmet.

Witnesses at the scene said speed may have been a factor in the accident.
