GREENTOP, MO : Memphis woman injured in crash south of Greentop on Wednesday, 4th April 2018

A Memphis woman was injured in a Wednesday night crash south of Greentop.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Katrina A. Burgess, 34, of Memphis, was traveling north on U.S. 63, 2 miles south of Greentop, at 7:45 p.m. The patrol said the Equinox, which was stopped in traffic, was struck from behind by a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by Jenna M. Lonberger, 49, of Kirksville.

Burgess was taken by Adair County Ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville with minor injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.

The patrol was assisted by the Adair County Sheriff's Department and Adair County First Responders.
