SHREWSBURY, VT : Man hurt in Shrewsbury motorcycle crash on Wednesday, 16th May 2018

A Cavendish man was hurt when his motorcycle crashed on Wednesday, according to the Vermont State Police.

Anthony Leiner, 79, of Cavendish, was driving a 2014 Honda motorcycle west on Lincoln Hill Road in Shrewsbury, intending to turn left onto Town Hill Road. Leiner lost control and the motorcycle slid onto its left side.

The crash was reported around 3:25 pm.

Leiner, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Rutland Regional Medical Center for treatment of a facial laceration and a broken leg.
