CALDWELL, ID : A boy riding a bicycle was injured on Thursday, June 8, 2017

A boy riding a bicycle was injured Thursday afternoon when he was hit by a motorcycle, the Canyon County Sheriff's Office said.

According to a KTVB report, the crash happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of West Orchard and 10th avenues.

Officials said the boy, who is about 11 years old, was taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise with non-life threatening injuries.

The sheriff's office is investigating who had the right of way.
