Utah man hit, killed on Interstate 84 in Idaho
A Utah man was killed in a car accident on I-84 in Idaho Saturday evening.The accident took place at about 8:12 p.m. near mile post 125 on I-84 in Elmore County, Idaho.According to a press release from the Idaho State Police, Jason Richmond, 32, of Midvale, Utah was standing outside of his Jeep on the driver’s side while assisting a tow truck operator who was removing the Jeep from the interstate.A semi pulling a trailer traveling eastbound struck Richmond, who died at the scene. The driver of the semi was identified as 57-year-old Volodymyr Boyko of Portland, Oregon.There were no other injuries reported.The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
