Tuscaloosa, AL : Bessemer woman killed in crash on Interstate 20/59 near Tuscaloosa on Saturday, October 11, 2014

A Bessemer woman was killed in a crash last weekend. The Alabama State Troopers report Valeria Hawkins, 60, was killed when the minivan she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. It happened Saturday, October 11, 2014, about 10:30 p.m. Hawkins was driving on Interstate 20/59 near mile marker 66, about five miles south of Tuscaloosa.
