Three people have been hospitalized after a police chase ended in Berkeley County on Tuesday morning.
The chase ended around 4:40 a.m. on Hwy 52, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Cpl. Judd Jones. Police were chasing a 27-year-old woman driving a 2011 Buick going east on Highway 52 when the crash happened.
The woman crashed into the back of a 2016 Toyota and was taken to the hospital following the chase. The 61-year-old driver and 59-year-old passenger in the Toyota were also hospitalized.
