Meridian ,ID : Teenage driver hits power pole on Sunday afternoon ,July 26th 2015

A car crashed into a pole between State Street and Carlton Street in Meridian Sunday afternoon.

The pole is located on the 1100 block of 2nd Street. Firefighters say a teenage driver ran into it.

Idaho Power crews cut power very briefly. The electrical lines were arched and sparking a fire. The cause of the accident is currently unknown.

Information on damaged power lines, if any, and other details about the crash will be posted as soon as they become available.
