Man dies after car crash in Walnut Creek

The man was driving a Toyota Prius east on Trinity Avenue at N. California Boulevard at 4:27 p.m. when he was broadsided by a Dodge Durango traveling north, police said. The man was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where he later died as a result of his injuries. His name was not immediately available.
