Lee, MA : Williamstown woman suffered minor injuries in a four-vehicle crash on Tuesday that backed up traffic for about 90 minutes on September 2nd 2014
A Williamstown woman suffered minor injuries in a four-vehicle crash on Tuesday that backed up traffic for about 90 minutes on the Massachusetts Turnpike, according to state police.
Bjana Mladenovic, 55, was one of four drivers traveling eastbound on I-90, just east of Exit 2, around 3:40 p.m. when her car got involved in a chain-reaction collision that involved a pickup truck pulling a trailer with a boat.
Eyewitnesses said the boat crossed the median and landing in the westbound lane, while one car jumped the guardrail along the median, according to police. It wasn't clear whether it was Mladenovic's vehicle that ran off the highway.
She was taken to Berkshire Medical Center, treated and released, a hospital spokesman said on Wednesday.
No other details were available of the crash that remains under investigation.
Traffic was backed up for up to two miles in both directions until the scene was cleared of emergency and towing vehicles around 5 p.m., police said.
