CENTER, MO : Two Center residents were hospitalized after a crash on Tuesday, August 29, 2017

Two Center residents were hospitalized after a crash Tuesday near Center.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the accident on Magnolia Road, two miles north of Center, at noon. The patrol reported that Raven D. Levings, 17, ran off the right side of the road and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to leave the left side of the road and overturn.

Levings was taken by Ralls County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., with moderate injuries.

Passenger Emilie L. Higgins, 19, was taken by private vehicle to Hannibal Regional Hospital with minor injuries.

Assisting at the scene were Center first responders and the New London Fire Department
