A Greer man was killed in a crash Monday morning in Asheville, according to the Asheville Police Department.
The crash happened just after 6:30 a.m. on Hendersonville Road at the Blue Ridge Parkway overpass.
Police said a vehicle heading north crossed all four lanes of traffic and crashed into a pickup truck heading south.
Police said 56-year-old David Earl Gosnell of Greer, the driver of the vehicle heading north, died at the scene.
The driver of the southbound vehicle was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
