Eureka Springs, AR : 23-year-old Christopher D. Reeves killed and 42-year-old woman injured in two-vehicle head-on crash on State Highway 23 in Carrol County on Sunday, Aug 9, 2015

A man is dead after a head-on collision on a winding highway in Carroll County.

23-year-old Christopher D. Reeves of Eureka Springs was killed in the wreck.

A 42-year-old woman was also injured.

The collision happened on State Highway 23, south of State Highway 187 shortly before 1:00 a.m. Sunday.

Police say the car driven by Reeves crossed the center line in a curve and hit an oncoming vehicle.

He died on the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
