Portland, OR : Two seriously injured when motorcycle crashes with Red Cross delivery truck on North Williams Avenue and North Monroe Street in Portland on Sunday morning, Aug 9, 2015
Two people were seriously injured after a Red Cross blood delivery truck collided with a motorcycle in North Portland early Sunday morning.
Officers were on their way to a suspicious person call at 2:41 a.m. when they saw the motorcycle and delivery truck had been involved in a crash, according to Portland police.
The delivery truck was heading north on North Williams Avenue and turned left onto North Monroe Street when it hit the motorcycle, police said.
A 29-year-old woman and a man were thrown from the motorcycle, according to police.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries and the woman was seriously injured. The truck driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
