Memphis, TN : Toddler critical after hit-and-run crash in the 4200 block of Westover Avenue on Saturday night, April 30, 2016

A toddler is in critical condition after he was hit by a car Saturday night.

Police said the accident happened in the 4200 block of Westover Avenue.

Investigators said the toddler was in the driveway when he went into the street and was hit by a vehicle. The vehicle continued driving and turned on Wells Station Road. The vehicle is described as white with rims on it.

The toddler was taken to Baptist East Hospital by private vehicle. He was then flown by helicopter to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in critical condition.

Police have not made any arrests.

This is an ongoing investigation.
