Colchester, CT : Motorcycle rider killed in Colchester crash on Thursday, 15th August 2019

A motorcycle rider died Thursday afternoon in a crash on Route 85 in Colchester.
Ricky Ayala, , was riding his Suzuki motorcyle north on Route 85, also called New London Road, when he lost control and rode off the road and into the grassy field off the shoulder, state police said.
He then crashed in the area near Homonick Road and suffered fatal injuries, state police said.
No other vehicles were involved and the cause of the crash remained under investigation late Thursday, state police said.
