ANTIOCH, CA : A man died and a woman was left critically injured in a fatal motorcycle crash on May, Saturday, 20th 2017

A man died and a woman was left critically injured in a fatal motorcycle crash Saturday, police said.

The crash occurred at 1:45 p.m. in the area of Wilbur and Viera avenues after a report that a motorcycle had collided with a pole, police said.

The 68-year-old man was taken to the hospital, but did not survive. His 66-year-old female passenger was also taken to the hospital and remains in critical condition. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash, police said.
