Marion County , Fl : One person was kiled by Allen Hopkins struck Lucious Colbert While Standing Near the lane on Saturday , January 24th 2015

Florida Highway troopers are investigating a fatal crash in Marion County.

Troopers said Allen Hopkins, 74, was heading southbound on Interstate 75 in the outside lane Saturday when he struck Lucious Colbert, who was standing near the lane.

The crash happened just before 10 p.m. Saturday.

Troopers said Hopkins didn’t see the man standing in the road.

Colbert died at the scene.
