Burlington, MT : MBTA Ride bus involved in 2-vehicle crash in Burlington on Wednesday, 17th July 2019

Four people were taken to hospitals with nonlife-threatening injuries after a car crossed the center line and struck an MBTA Ride bus Wednesday morning in Burlington, authorities said.

Officials were called to the scene on Winn Street at Wyman Road around 8:45 a.m., according to the town’s police and fire departments.

At the time of the crash, the Ride bus was carrying two Woburn women, ages 37 and 61, and it was being driven by a 37-year-old Randolph man, authorities said. The car was being driven by a 72-year-old Natick man; he was the only person in the vehicle. All four occupants were brought to hospitals.Traffic was detoured around the crash at the time, and the road reopened around 10:15 a.m., according to officials. The crash remains under investigation.
