Jacksonville,FL: Semi-truck crash knots traffic on I-10 near U.S. 301 on December, Wednesday 20th 2017

A Wednesday morning crash involving a semi-truck tied up eastbound traffic on Interstate 10, authorities said.

The crash happened about 6:30 a.m. on I-10 at U.S. 301 near the Baker-Duval county line, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.

Fire department spokesman Tom Francis said it appeared the semi-truck struck a sedan. It's unclear whether anyone was hurt.

The collision blocked one eastbound lane of I-10, with a viewer telling News4Jax that traffic was backed up all the way to Macclenny.
