NAPPANEE, IN : 2 children killed in farm accident near Nappanee on Tuesday, 19th November, 2019

Two children are dead after police say they were ran over by a tractor-trailer rig Tuesday afternoon near Nappanee.

Kosciusko County sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Francis, department spokesperson, said the children – ages 3 and 5 – were underneath the rig’s trailer when the driver, identified as Benjamin T. Sheets, 26, pulled forward, killing them.

The Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office pronounced the children dead at the scene. Their names have not been released.
