Madison,WV : Authorities release name of teen killed in Boone County crash on May,Monday 28th 2018

Authorities have released the name of a teenager killed in a motor vehicle crash Memorial Day weekend in Boone County.

Boone County Chief Deputy Chad Barker confirmed that Jonathan "Tater" Lester, 17, a Scott High School student, was killed in the accident that occurred overnight Saturday at the old Hobet Mining property near Danville.

Barker said Lester was a passenger in a truck being driven by Dylan Price, 19, of Julian. Price is in South Western Regional Jail charged with DUI causing death. He is being held on $100,000 bond.

Barker added that Price has one prior arrest for DUI from 2017 that is still pending in Logan County Magistrate Court.
