El Paso, TX : Speeding blamed in northeast El Paso rollover crash on Sunday, 27th December 2020

Police on Monday identified the woman killed in a weekend rollover traffic crash as 36–year-old Iliana Dennis of El Paso.

Investigators said it appeared Dennis lost control of her Jeep while speeding, it struck a curb and then swerved into a dirt median before colliding with a backhoe and overturning.

Her death was the 69th traffic fatality of the year in El Paso, compared to 71 at the same time in 2019.
