Logansport, IN : Girl dead, six others injured in crash on U.S. 24 on Monday, 15th August, 2016
One girl is dead and five other passengers are in critical condition after a vehicle rolled and hit a tree Tuesday evening west of Logansport.
First responders were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash just after 5 p.m. Aug. 16 on U.S. 24 west of 400 West, between Logansport and Lake Cicott.
Police say a 12-year-old girl succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash and five others — an adult woman, three boys and a girl — remain in critical condition at various hospitals in the region.
An adult man involved in the crash suffered serious injuries, was treated at Logansport Memorial Hospital and was released Tuesday, according to Cass County Sheriff Randy Pryor.
Pryor said all seven occupants in the vehicle were from Ohio. Their identities were not available Tuesday evening.
