Sarasota, FL : Robert Wesley Campbell Jr was killed in a one-vehicle crash at Burnt Store Road On Monday, July 25th, 2016

A Venice man died in a one-vehicle crash Monday morning on Burnt Store Road.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol:

Robert Wesley Campbell Jr., 24, was driving a 2005 Ford F-350 pickup truck northbound on Burnt Store Road at about 8 a.m. About a mile south of Scham Road, Campbell's pickup crossed the southbound lane and ran off

the road, onto the west grass shoulder.

The front of the truck struck a tree. Campbell, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
