Omaha, NE : Motorcyclist severs finger in northwest Omaha crash on Thursday, February 16th 2017
A motorcyclist's finger was severed Thursday when he crashed in northwest Omaha, police said.
Ryan C. Lamp, 39, of Omaha was riding a 2014 Harley Davidson eastbound on West Maple Road about 6:45 p.m., when it veered and struck a concrete median and crashed near 206th Street, police said.
Lamp, who police said was wearing a helmet, was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center. His injuries, which also included bruises and cuts, were serious but not life-threatening, police said.
