LOS ANGELES, CA : 2 killed in Lake Balboa crash on Thursday, 29th June 2023

A woman and a 5-year-old boy are dead after a two-vehicle wreck in Lake Balboa.The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call late Thursday night in the 6400 block of North Woodley Avenue. A 60-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the 5-year-old was listed in grave condition before he died at the hospital.

In addition to the woman and the young boy, four others were taken to the hospital and are believed to be in serious condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
