PIKE COUNTY, MS : One dead after Pike County crash on Monday, 17th October 2016

One man is dead after he was ejected from the car he was driving on on Highway 44 near Paul Seals Road in Pike County. 26-year-old Roddarius Tate, of Summit, was traveling west on Highway 44 with the Chevrolet Impala he was driving left the road and hit a concrete culvert before stopping in a patch of trees.

Tate was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The accident is still under investigation.
