Hendry County, FL : Lehigh Acres man dies after pedestrian crash early Saturday morning on October 4, 2014

Florida Highway Patrol confirms 35-year-old Enrique Salazar-Alcantar of Lehigh Acres died from his injuries after being struck by a car in Hendry County early Saturday morning. According to the FHP report, the victim was walking or standing within the outside portion of the northbound lane of State Road 29, south of Spencer Lane. They report he was not wearing any sort of safety equipment and did have on dark clothing. The driver from LaBelle did not see Salazar-Alcantar when her car hit him. The driver was not hurt. Family was notified of Enrique Salazar-Alcantar's death. It has not been determined if alcohol was involved. Source : Lehigh Acres man dies after pedestrian crash
