Jefferson County, AL : Woman injured after single-car crash into pole on Narrows Road near Pinson on Thursday, February 11, 2016

A woman who was trapped in her car after crashing into a power pole near Pinson has been freed and is being flown to a hospital.

The crash happened on Narrows Road off of Highway 79 a little after 12:30 p.m.

Emergency responders worked for about an hour to try to pull her out of the car. Once she was freed, she was flown by helicopter to UAB Hospital.

Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene.
