Arlington , TX : Two good Samaritans killed and three others injured after accident near Monument Road off ramp on Friday , January 16th 2015

Two people are dead and three other hurt from a crash in Arlington.

It happened on I-295 near the Monument Road off ramp.

The two men killed were good Samaritans trying to help a stranded driver.

“When you see emergency vehicles with their lights on, you know slow down, pull over safety is important,” says Sgt. Roger Thomas.

Sgt. Roger Thomas with Florida Highway Patrol says it a rule he wishes people would follow, especially after this Friday morning accident.

“The other parties that were in the vehicle were standing outside the vehicles. Struck the vehicles and then struck four people that were outside,” said Sgt. Roger Thomas.

FHP says 22-year old Michelle Eikill and 20-year old Ryan Mowl were injured in the crash, but both 20-year old Jacob Green and 29-year old Robert Fisher died from the crash, “It's been awhile since I've seen one like this, this is unfortunate,” said Thomas.
