Nashville, TN : Music City Star hit a vehicle in the Stewarts Ferry Pike near Lebanon Road on Thursday morning , June 18th 2015

The Music City Star hit a vehicle in the Hermitage area, sending the driver of the car to the hospital.

The crash happened on Stewarts Ferry Pike near Lebanon Road on Thursday morning.

Police said a woman tried to beat the train, and when she realized she couldn't, she stopped on the tracks.

That's when the bar came down, hitting her car.

The woman is expected to be OK. Her name has not been released by officials.
