TRUMBULL, CT : 18-year-old killed in crash that closed Route 25 in Trumbull on Friday, 13th September 2024

Police are investigating a fatal crash that led to the closure of Route 25 for several hours Friday night.

Troop G dispatch received reports of the accident at 11:01 p.m. on Route 25 South, near Exit 9.

According to authorities, a 2013 BMW X1 was traveling southbound on Route 25 when it was sideswiped by a 2013 BMW X5.

The collision caused the BMW X5 to roll over and crash into multiple trees.
