ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FL : Flagler County deputy seriously injured after crash on I-95 at mile marker 314 in St. Johns County on Tuesday, 5th March 2024

A Flagler County deputy is recovering at a local hospital Tuesday after he was hit while on a motorcycle in St. Johns County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP says at 8:30 a.m., an 18-year-old Jacksonville man who was driving a sedan, along with the 39-year-old deputy, were both traveling southbound on Interstate 95, north of mile marker 314. The FHP crash report states that the teen was traveling in the left lane, while the deputy was traveling in the inside shoulder with emergency lights activated.
